Capixyl™
Active complex of the biopeptide acetyl tetrapeptide-3 and red clover extract, developed for the hair root. The peptide supports the anchoring of the hair in the hair follicle, while the red clover extract (rich in biochanin A) targets influences that weaken the hair root. POWER Lotion 2.0 contains Capixyl™ at a concentration of 5%.
Stimulates the microcirculation of the scalp and is one of the best-studied active ingredients in care for hair loss. Caffeine penetrates the scalp via the hair follicle and acts there directly at the hair root.
Binds moisture, soothes the scalp and forms a protective layer around the hair. The hair becomes more supple, is easier to comb and breaks less easily.

Saw palmetto extract (Serenoa serrulata)
One of the best-known plant extracts for hormonal and hereditary hair loss. It is used to protect the hair root from the influence of the hormone DHT, which causes the hair follicles to shrink over time.
Used in hair care for generations. Applied externally, nettle cares for the scalp; taken internally, it provides minerals and secondary plant compounds.

L-cysteine and L-methionine
Sulphur-containing amino acids and key building blocks of keratin, the protein that makes up most of the hair. The sulphur bridges of cysteine give the hair its strength.
Contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and has a role in the process of cell division – important for the hair root, one of the most actively dividing tissues in the body.
Food supplements with collagen and hyaluronic acid start at the base: the building blocks reach the scalp and the hair follicles from within via the bloodstream.
Collagen peptides (hydrolysed collagen type I)
Are broken down in the body into amino acids and short peptides and thus support the connective tissue of the scalp. A healthy, elastic scalp ensures better anchoring and nutrient supply of the hair roots. As a hydrolysate, the collagen is already broken down and is absorbed considerably better by the gut than native collagen.
Binds water and supplies the tissue with moisture from within. This supports the moisture balance of the skin and can also help the scalp to dry out less.
Good to know: Hair grows slowly, about 1 cm per month. Visible changes in hair structure or at the roots usually only appear after regular intake over at least 2 to 3 months.
